Process

How a dance editing project works

Four stages with a review at each one, so the big decisions happen early.

1. Brief and quote

You share the footage link, the running order and what you need back. We check the files, ask about anything unclear, and send a written quote with scope, revision rounds and a delivery date. Work starts when you accept it.

2. Sync and first cut

Every camera and the music go on one timeline. For recitals, the show is split into routines and titled. For music-synced pieces, the shot changes are placed on the beats and counts. You get a review link.

3. Review

You leave time-stamped notes on the link: a wrong title, a shot you'd rather not use, a dancer who needs to be cropped out. One person collecting notes from the studio keeps this quick.

4. Grade, sound and delivery

Cameras are color matched, music levels set, and files exported in every size you asked for, with a download link for families if you need one. Extra rounds beyond the quote are priced before we do them.
